Horizon2020 – How to get involved?

H2020 is the world largest funding programme for research and innovation with nearly 80 Billion Euro (nearly 111 Billion USD) for seven years. Horizon 2020 is open to participation from across the world, meaning that European researchers can cooperate with their counterparts in third countries on any topic of their choice.

The guide below, however, is aimed to give US researchers and innovators hands-on information on how you get involved. This guide is not meant to be comprehensive, so BILAT USA 2.0 project summarized those questions that have been asked repeatedly during our Horizon 2020 information sessions held in the US. If you still have additional questions, please check our FAQ section, the H2020 online manual or contact us, and we will add your question and our answer to this guide.

While we have included some information about individual fellowship schemes (Marie Skolodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) and European Research Council (ERC) Grants), please find more extended information at the US EURAXESS Links website.
